Today I'm using the Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I'm using primarily the dies from this bundle. I decided on a Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green and Basic White color theme. I die cut the main, 3-part daisy die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies along with the overlays for each daisy. The leaves are part of the main, 3-part die, however, if you want leaves of a different color, it is easy to die cut just the leaves. Before I added the overlays to each daisy, I use my Sponge Daubers and lightly sponged Blackberry Bliss ink onto the centers of each daisy. I sponge one darker than the other, and decided I liked the lighter sponging best. What's your opinion? I cut three rectangles of Granny Apple Green as backgrounds for the daisies, and added a thin sliver of Fresh Freesia to the edge of each rectangle. The Basic White layer is dry embossed using the crosshatch folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders pack, Item #161598 | $30 USD for all three folder, an Online Exclusive only available on the Stampin' Up! Store. I added a banner of Fresh Freesia with a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Dandy Designs pack. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a stitched circle for my sentiment. I used a sentiment from Lasting Joy, and another from Heron Stamp Set, and stamped the sentiments using Blackberry Bliss Ink. I added Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots as accents to the corner of my card.
The basecard for today's card is Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then another layer of Basic White cardstock dry embossed with the crosshatch design embossing folder from the Basic 3D Embossing folder set, a 3-pack set of 3D Embossing Folders sold in the Stampin' Up! store as an Online Exclusive. These will not be sold as part of any catalog, but can be added to any order. Use item #161598 | $30.00 USD for this three-pack of flowers, hobnail-glass dots, and crosshatch designs. Then, I used Granny Apply Green rectangles with a thin strip of Fresh Freesia Cardstock as a background for my daisies.
I used the Cheerful Daisies Dies to die cut the 3 Daisies and the matching toppers for the dies that give each daisy more detail. I die cut them out of Fresh Freesia cardstock. I added a banner of Fresh Freesia with a flag end on one side, and overlaid it with a thin strip of Designer Series Paper from one of the prints from the retired Dandy Designs pack as I hate to see beautiful Designer Series Paper go to waste.
To finish the card, I used one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut a Basic White label, and stamped "You're in my thoughts today" in Blackberry Bliss ink on one card sample and "Birthday Wishes" from the Lasting Joy Stamp Set on the second sample card. On the Happy Birthday label, I also stamped two small flowers using one of the dies in the Lasting Joy Stamp Set. To finish the card, I added a couple of Adhesive Backed Milky Dots.
