Stampin' Up! Timeless Tulips Stamp Set

"I love tulips better than any other spring flower; they are the embodiment of alert cheerfulness and tidy grace, and next to a hyacinth look like a wholesome, freshly tubbed young girl beside a stout lady whose every movement weights down the air with patchouli.  Their faint, delicate scent is refinement itself and is there anything in the world more charming than the sprightly way they hold up their little faces to the sun.  I have heard them called bold and flaunting, but to me they seem modest grace itself, only always on the alert to enjoy life as much as they can and not be afraid of looking the sun or anything else above them in the face."
-- Elizabeth von Arnim, Elizabeth and Her German Garden

She said it so well, I have nothing more to add but today's sample card made with the Stampin' Up! Timeless Tulips Bundle from the new January-June 2020 Mini catalog

Today's card uses a basecard of Petal Pink Cardstock.  Then a layer of Rich Razzleberry.  Then a print from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.  For the image layer I used the Layering Oval Dies and cut a scalloped oval out of Petal Pink Cardstock.  Then I cut a slightly smaller oval out of another print from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper.

To create the tulips, I stamped the largest tulip from Timeless Tulips Stamp Set in Petal Pink ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.  I stamped two of them.  Then I punched them out using the Tulip Builder Punch.  I used sponge Daubers and Rich Razzleberry ink to lightly add a Rich Razzleberry tint to the bottom edges of each of the tulips.

Then I stamped the leaves and stems in Pear Pizzazz ink onto the oval print.  I popped the Tulip heads up on Dimensionals.  After assembling my layers, I added a bow using Petal Pink 14" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.

To complete my card, I selected a sentiment from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set and stamped it in Rich Razzleberry ink onto a Whisper White Rectangle die cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I love the color combinations in the print from the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper  You'll want to take a look at the entire Timeless Tulip Bundle on page 43 of the catalog and then flip to see more samples on page 67 of the  January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.
