Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper

Today's I'm using the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  Basically all you need to make a card is this paper and a sentiment and a basecard.  I've added a little bit more, but a simpler card would look just as good. The Peaceful Poppies Suite includes two stamp sets:  Painted Poppies and Peaceful Movement, and two sets of Dies:  Painted Labels and Poppy Moments. Then there is coordinating Designer Series Papers and Embellishments.   Everything in this large suite just makes you feel inspired!   Cards you make with today's papers are sure to put a smile on the face of your recipient.

The basecard is Rich Razzleberry.  Then a layer of Basic Black.  Then a layer of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.  I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a layer out of the Designer Series Paper.  I used a slightly larger Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a slightly larger Basic Black Rectangle to mat the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper I cut earlier.

I added a 1/2" Black Satin Ribbon under the die cut rectangle layers, and then added dimensionals to the die cut rectangle layer before adding it to the center of the card.

To complete my card, I used stamped sentiments from the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set.  I stamped the sentiments in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White, and then cut them out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

You'll want to take a look at the entire Peaceful Poppies Suite on pp. 24 of the catalog.  Customers can now order from the new catalog.  If you don't have a demonstrator and want a copy of the new, January - June 2020 Mini catalog, contact me.   I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies Card Class #15
Your hand-made cards are very meaningful to your friends and family.  Start this year by creating these 6 cards, which you can use as samples or templates to make more cards on your own. The Peaceful Poppies Suite we're using for this class is one of newest, hot stamp and die sets from the Stampin' Up! January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, introduced January 3.  This suite includes two stamp sets and two sets of coordinating dies, plus designer series papers and accessories.  This class gives you the opportunity to use all of this suite.  You'll finish this class with a collection of beautiful cards.  And, you'll feel more comfortable with all of the many pieces in this suite.

In this class, we'll make the cards in the photo below.  Six full-size cards where you'll use stamp sets, papers, and embellishments from the latest Stampin' Up! catalog, the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog.  These are great handmade cards to use when you want to send a special message to friends, or family, or need a thank-you for a special holiday hostess that you still need to send a Thank You card.
