Create Wow cards using the Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked Stamp Set

I spent Saturday with crafting friends getting caught up on cards I've been meaning to make, but hadn't because I was focused on using my Sale-A-Bration Stamps during January and February.  As March rolls around, I decided to create floral cards with a bit of "wow" factor.  I pulled out my Artistically Inked Stamp Set and the coordinating Artistic Dies and set to work.  My color theme was Pale Papaya, Gold Foil, Basic White, and floral designs from the Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This paper is retired, but the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies are currently available in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, pg. 105.   I created layers of Pale Papaya and Gold Foil sheets and used the Artistic Dies to die cut Gold Foil Sheet florals to accent my card.  The sentiment is heat embossed in Gold, and accented with Gold Adhesive-back Swirls that were  originally part of the Fitting Florets Collection, and sold out almost immediately.  You'll love creating "wow" cards using the Artistically Inked Stamp Set and coordinating Artistic Dies.  

The basecard for today's card is Papaya Cardstock.  Then I used a polka dot print from the 2021-2023 In Color 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper pack, and matted it with a Gold Foil Sheet.  I used a floral print from the Expressions In Ink 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper and matted it in Gold Foil Sheet. Although this floral paper is retired, you can use the Artistically Inked Stamp Set to create similar images on Basic White Cardstock, similar to the image I stamped on the envelope above.    

Next, I used one of the dies from the Artistic Dies and die cut a large floral out of Gold Foil Sheets.  I found that this die cut enhanced the floral images in the Designer Series Paper or from the stamps set.  I used Tombow glue to adhere it to my card front, using my Silicon Sheet to avoid getting glue all over my work surface.

To finish my card, I die cut a rectangle from Basic White Cardstock, using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, to use for my Happy Birthday sentiment, and stamped the sentiment in Versamark.  I covered the Versamark ink with Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool.  I matted the sentiment label with Gold Goil Sheet, and popped it up on Dimensionals before adding it to my card.  I added a couple of Gold Adhesive-backed Swirls to add a bit more bling.
