Read more about free shipping on 19 April below.  Now that the important stuff has been highlighted, I'm excited to show you the different ways I used the Ten Years of Growth March 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I created several cards with the elements in this kit, and then used the FREE stamp set that came with this set to create a few more cards.   Here's what I created.

Greeting Card ideas using Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit from March 2023

I pulled from components of the Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit, and also added elements from different stamp sets, embossing folders, different cardstock and designer series paper -- both current and some of my favorite retired papers.

I used one of the preprinted basecards that were part of this kit along with preprinted vases and foliage die cuts from the kit for this card.  I created a few more books for the book case by cutting into the matching envelopes from this kit.  The cat is from the retired Designer Series Paper pack called Playful Pets Designer Series Paper.  I love finding uses for my retired stash.

I used another of the basecards that were part of this kit along with elements from the FREE stamp set included in this kit to create a vase and flowers. I used a sheet of retired 6" X 6" Neutrals Designer Series Paper Pack and fussy cut the window element from the preprinted basecard. I colored the flowers with Blends, and fussy cut the vase from Crumb Cake Cardstock.  The are multiple sentiments to use with the word "Happy" in the stamp sets included in this kit.  I used it for a friendship card and birthday cards, and heat embossing the sentiments in White Embossing Powder onto Crumb Cake Cardstock. There was a space to the right of the flowers that just seemed to need something, so I added the tiny bird from the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set.  Dear Husband said I should have colored it yellow or something, but I didn't want to take away from the pot of colored lilies.  What do you think?  Color the tiny bird? Or leave plain?

Three cards with lilies using the March 2023 Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit

I loved the lilies stamp that came with the FREE gift stamp set in the Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I created several cards, shown above, with different sentiments using this Basic White frame layout.  It used a Thick Basic White Cardstock Basecard, and then I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to die cut a wide frame Basic White, which I dry embossed using one of the 3D embossing folders from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders pack of three different embossing folders, found on the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives.  I stamped the lilies, leaves and sentiment in Smoky Slate ink, which gave them a softer look, along with  a sprinkling of Basic Pearls.  While this layout works for wedding congratulation, or birthdays, I think it works best as a Sympathy card.

The insert in the Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit included an alternative card idea that I recreated above.  I again used the stamp sets from the The Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit, and I added a Crumb Cake basecard stamped with the open leaf stamp from the kit in Crumb Cake ink, and Very Vanilla layers, die cut using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.  I stamped the word Happy in Crumb Cake ink, and heat embossed the smaller sentiments in White Embossing Powder on Crumb Cake Cardstock.    On the bottom card, I also added another cat from the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper.   I colored the flowers with Blends Markers, and added a couple of gems from the Adhesive Backed Milky Dots collection from the 2023 January-April Mini Catalog.

My final card using the Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin Kit from March 2023, is this bright, cheery birthday card.  I used a Polished Pink Cardstock base, covered with a Basic White element created using one of the dies in the Organic Beauty Dies.  Then I matted my Basic White image layer with Shaded Spruce Cardstock.  I stamped the lilies and the vase from the stamp sets in this kit, and colored them with Blends Markers.  I heat embossed a Happy birthday sentiment in White Embossing Powder onto a piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock, and added a couple of Solid Faceted Gems from the Annual Catalog to finish this card.

New Catalog Pricing Changes

While Stampin' Up strives to provide us with the best paper crafting products and experiences, without sacrificing the quality of Stampin' Up! is know for, all while being mindful of cost and other important consideration, we are all aware of the increases in costs we're seeing in today's market place. This is a heads up that price increase will impact several product categories in the upcoming new catalog.

You'll want to consider stocking up on items such as Cardstock, Specialty Paper, Notecards and Envelopes, Ink Pads and Refills, Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Write Markers, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machines and plates, Take Your Pick products, Storage, Clear Blocks, Select adhesives, and Paper Pumpkin.  Consider purchasing a Paper Pumpkin subscription (a prepaid code) before the 2 May 2023 price change to receive current pricing on your subscription.  You don't have to use your Paper Pumpkin Subscription code before 2 May.  Order Paper Pumpkin subscriptions here:  https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=100492

When we say goodbye to retiring colors, and announced New Colors, it means we often see several retiring colors sell out.  Since these products will not be restocked, now is the time to check your stock of cardstock, ink pads and refills, Blends and Markers and Designer Series Paper.  Place your order during the Last Chance sale--before the new Annual Catalog release on 2 May--so you can save you up to 60% on some items and you'll have the colors and favorites you need to complete current projects.
